Newer Additions

(pastel on paper)

A shot at interpreting Picasso's signature style. The colors are a bit bolder than what I had in mind initially, but I'm not complaining. I really like this one, but I don't know what to do with it.

quotacular:

“I look at these people and can't quite believe that they exist. Are they professional actors? I wonder. Or are they simply laymen who want a lot of attention? To put them in perspective, I think of being on an airplane. The flight attendant comes down the aisle with her food cart and, eventually, parks it beside my seat. "Can I interest you in the chicken?" she asks. "Or would you prefer the platter of shit with bits of broken glass in it? To be undecided in this election is to pause for a moment and then ask how the chicken is cooked."

just a quick note:

so I just got my absentee ballot today.    v. exciting
obviously you know who's running for president, maybe you care, maybe you don't (but you are going to vote, AREN'T YOU?)

whether you're filling in the bubbles or punching out the holes, you'll probably notice that there's more on there than space for the next commander in chief--and some states have more exciting stuff going on than others.

I don't live in California, Arizona, or Florida, but if I did, I would vote NO on Propositions 8 (CA), 2 (FL) and 102 (AZ). if you call any of those three home, maybe take a gander at that little space on the ballot on november 4th.

it's dumb that the government gets to decide who you can marry, but at least in some places you have the opportunity to change things for the better

if you need any more persuasion, check these vids
or maybe a celebrity or two would help

(hugs to all my homo homies)  <3
