All the Young Dudes, Carry the News

So I really hate myself for doing this but I think I'll start off on the Heath Ledger foot. This really is beginning to get sick, guys. Let's focus on more pressing matters under the pill-riddled Heath umbrella--are they still releasing the new Batman movie on time?

Or worse yet: I don't think I want to see "In Memory of Heath" peddling up the screen as the credits roll following riveting crime-fighting night of Bruce Wayne in Gotham with Albert sitting shotgun in the Batmobile. Don't ruin it for me.

Over lunch today, it was agreed between myself, B., and A. that Batman really is the superest of super heroes--a truth that I've been pushing for years now. It's the kind of thing that should make you aspire to be rich with dead parents so you can spend countless hours crashing originally-government-sponsored vehicles whenever you want. B. did point out that it was somewhat ridiculous to want to be "batlike". And yet, something tells me that Batman is a little bit better of a pseudonym than FluffyHampsterMan.

Certainly better than the Tick.

And so, rest in peace Heath Ledger. Most of your roles were anywhere from fair to mediocre, though I thought Ten Things I Hate About You really exemplified your prowess as an actor. Hopefully your untimely passing will not cause too much more of a ripple effect into my life (seriously, girls in 628, get over it).

And hopefully your death will not detract more from the attention spans of the many annoying news anchors of CNN. CNN and their ADHD-enhancing tickers and lights. CNN and their love of polls that love Hillary Clinton.

Who...is not better than the Tick.
